Play can give children a way to express feelings, connect with the people who care for them, and navigate experiences of change and loss.
On Friday, November 20, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, KidsPlay Children’s Museum invites families to Healing with Play, a special evening of play, creativity, and connection.
Healing with Play is part of a national initiative helping children’s museums support families through grief, loss, and change.
Loss can look like many things, such as a loved one, a pet, a home, or changes like divorce or a move.
Whether your family is going through a loss right now, you’re supporting a child while coping with your own grief, or you want to help your child build skills for the future, you are welcome to attend.
Explore the Museum together and try optional hands-on activities that encourage creative expression and family connection.
