Sensory Friendly Playtime provides an inclusive and judgment-free environment for play and learning for children with disabilities, on the autism spectrum, and/or sensory processing disorders and their families.
Finding places for the whole family to play without stress can be difficult. We will limit the number of families who can attend, lower the lights, decrease the sounds throughout the exhibits, and provide adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones.
Capacity is restricted to 50 participants for this event and pre-registration is required.
Friday, September 27 - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, October 27 - 9 am to 10 am
Friday, November 22 - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, December 22 - 9 am to 10 am
KidsPlay opens to the public at 10 am on Sundays but families are welcome to stay and continue to play.
